Eva worked in Reykjavik as a kindergarten teacher when her husband decided to buy a herring factory in his grandfather's hometown. Eva and her husband wanted to start a fish farm in it but if they realized that if renovated the house in Djúpavik tourists would also come to Djúpavik.
