As "THE SUN" called it: Independence day!



I'm against the current EU for a variety of reasons, the total lack of democratic control on those in charge is one, the EU being the political arm of lobbying multinationals who don't give an F about people nor nature is another, but there are more reasons. However, leaving is only the lesser of two evils, as far as I am concerned. Therefore I'm not celebrating, but neither am I mourning. I'm convinced that the peoples of Europe will continue to work together on issues that affect them all, like the need for nature conservation across borders, trade agreements etc. It's so much better to be good, cooperating neighbours, than being in a forced marriage together and suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
